I know what you mean, I'm not into superstitions either, but this years alredy on a bad start with me. Maybe not to the degree of you, but still. You see every year my parents would let me stay up to watch the countdown to the new year, but now that I'm in college I'm already allowed to stay up as late as I want and like an idiot was to busy playing video games to relize the time and missed the countdown. Now it seems I have to wait forever for even the smallest thing. Examples: 30 min. for a McDonald's employee to answer a simple question about the happy meal toys, 6 weeks to even try to order a anime series, and since the new year started no new TMNT episodes on Nickelodeon. But again sorry for your loss, just know that the curse of 2013 doesn't just haunt you.
